The Psalms and Canticles of Holy Week

Holy Week offers psalmists/cantors a wide variety of texts to proclaim and emotions to express. To serve as effective servants in this ministry requires a depth of understanding, attention to detail and—of course—practice.

In this workshop, our presenters will guide us toward greater understanding and skill with the psalms and canticles we will be proclaiming during Holy Week. You will have an opportunity to lead the other participants in a Holy Week psalm/canticle of your choice (Palm Sunday or any of the psalms/canticles used during the Triduum). Each participant is expected to bring two copies of the music. (No photocopies, please.)

Cost: $5 for NPM-GR chapter members; $10 for non-members.
