Mass of Resurrection by Randall DeBruyn selected as Diocesan liturgy Mass setting

To ease the transition to these new texts, parishes may begin to teach and gradually introduce the musical settings of the people’s parts of the Mass beginning the first Sunday of September—as recommended by the USCCB’s Committee on Divine Worship...

  • Each parish has the freedom to choose whether to begin this early implantation of the sung parts. Music directors may wish to teach and phase in the musical settings over a number of weeks.
  • Each parish is also free to choose which Mass setting will best fit their community. Click here for a list of new and revised musical settings.
  • The Mass of Resurrection (by Randall DeBruyn, Oregon Catholic Press) has been chosen for diocesan liturgies at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. Parishes are encouraged to learn this Mass setting.
